<NEW> Due to the postponement of the Fifth World Landslide Forum to 2-6 November 2021, we had to change the original plan to split the registration fee into two parts; 1) publication fee and for 2) fees for forum participation, oral presentation with full color book Vol.1, electronic proceedings, electronic posters and new publication of WLF 5 abstract volume.

Information for registration

To avoid long delays at the on-site registration desk, participants are strongly advised to register for the Forum in advance.

*The fees will automatically change from Early rate to Normal rate at 0:00 of April 1st, 2021 (Japan standard time).
*The fees will automatically change from Normal rate to Late rate at 0:00 of August 1st, 2021 (Japan standard time).
*All fees are in Japanese Yen.

Registration fee for Forum Participation

Note: Conference is organized in Hybrid system (onsite, online-virtual and pre-recorded presentation). Registration fee is the same. Switching within 3 options of presentation will be accepted by 15 September 2021.

– Registration fee for Regular, ICL Board, ICL Deputy Board, ICL Supporter, ICL Associates, Students, one-page abstract, E-poster, and regular (non-speaker/non-poster publication) participants includes Vol.1 of full colors books, WLF5 electronic proceeding, electronic posters, WLF5 abstract volume.
– Registration fee for Spouse includes the Conference Reception on Nov.3, 2021. They may attend all plenary and parallel sessions, exhibitions and posters, and exercise the Tea Ceremony in the tea room in the garden of KICC.
– Registrant for Listeners of the special event for the World Tsunami Awareness day (November 5, 2021 at Room B-2) are also able to visit the Exhibition for early warning and disaster reduction technologies for landslides and flows in Room B-1.
– The registration to Forum, Field Trip, City tours and Hotel accommodation Registration will be received by JTB Corp. Western Japan MICE Branch.

#  Participants may order any volume (s). From Springer, all chapter authors can download E-book they contributed to.
* Conditions of field trip: 100% will be refunded when the trip will be cancelled.  70% will be refunded when a participant is not possible to come to Japan due to COVID-19.  No Cancelation after 15 September 2021

[How to pay by credit card]
The credit cards listed below can be used to make payments.

Your credit card statement will show that the payment has been made to the name of JTB Corp., which is the agent handling registration.

Visa, MasterCardR, JCB, AMEX, Diners Club

1. For VISA, MasterCardR, and JCB cardholders
This system supports 3-D Secure for certain cardholders in order to provide a more secure online payment experience.

What is 3-D Secure?
This system adds an authentication step to the online payment process by requiring the user to enter a previously registered password on an authentication screen provided by the credit card issuer. International credit card brands VISA, MasterCardR, and JCB recommend that merchants make use of this system.

Credit card issuers use different names to refer to their implementation of 3-D Secure, including Verified by VISA (used by VISA), MasterCardR SecureCode? (MasterCardR), and J/Secure? (JCB).

*Some issuers allow cardholders to use the same password they have been assigned for accessing their monthly statements online or having them sent by email. If this password is not entered, or if an incorrect password is entered, the online transaction will not be completed.

*If you forget your password or experience other authentication-related issues, please contact your credit card issuer. (For more information, see your credit card issuer’s website.)

*In terms of the actual payment process, once you have entered your card information (issuer, card number, expiration date, and cardholder name), click the “Next” button to proceed to the credit card issuer’s authentication screen.

*If the authentication screen is not displayed, please confirm card number and expiration date, and take a procedure again. Or close your browser window, log onto the AMARYS registration screen again from the event website (scientific society conference, etc.), and enter another credit card on the payment page. Alternately, you may wish to contact your JTB representative.

*If you cancel the authentication process on this screen, your online transaction will not be completed. (Avoid using your browser’s “Back” button.) Also, canceling the authentication process will prevent you from returning to the current application screen, so you’ll need to log onto the application top page again and repeat the payment process.

2. For AMERICAN EXPRESS(AMEX) and Diners Club International cardholders
Card number, expiration date and security code will be required for the payment.

*The security code is the last 3 digits of the number printed above the card holder signature area on the back of the card.

*For American Express cards, this is the 4 digits number stamped above the card number on the front of the card.
